ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อใหญ่ ดอกมีสีขาว บริเวณปลายกิ่ง ก้านช่อดอกจะออกซ้อนกันคล้ายฉัตร 2-3 ชั้น กลีบรองดอกมีขาดเล็ก มีขน กลีบดอก 5 กลีบ เป็นสีขาวอมเหลืองนวล มีกลิ่นหอม [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ยืนต้นขนาดใหญ่ ลำต้นจะเป็นพูพอน เปลือกเป็นสีเทาดำ ลำต้นมียางสีขาว กิ่งแตกออกรอบข้อ [1]

ผล : ออกเป็นฝักคู่ยาว เหมือนถั่วฝักยาว ฝักแก่จะแตกออกเป็น 2 ซีก ภายในฝักมีเมล็ดเป็นจำนวนมาก เมล็ดมีลักษณะแบนๆ ยาวประมาณ 1 ซม. ปลายทั้ง 2 ข้างจะมีขนนวลเป็นกระจุก [1]

ใบ : ออกเป็นวงรอบข้อ ใบรูปไข่มน ปลายใบมน หรือเว้าเข้าเล็กน้อย มีเส้นใบถี่ และขนานกัน [1]
