ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ ตามบริเวณปลายยอด ช่อหนึ่งยาวประมาณ 2-4 ซม. ลักษณะของดอกมีกลีบรองกลีบดอก และกลีบดอก โคนกลีบเชื่อมติดกันเป็นรูปท่อเล็ก ๆ ปลายกลีบแยกออกเป็น 5 กลีบ ในท่อหลอดมีเกสรทั้งตัวผู้ และตัวเมีย [4]

ดอก : เป็นแบบช่อกระจุก ดอกย่อยมีก้าน ดอกย่อยที่ด้านข้างเท่ากัน มีขนาดเล็กกว่าดอกย่อยที่ตรงกลางช่อ ช่อดอกยาว 4-14 ซม. ก้านช่อยาว 0.9-3.5 ซม. หรือไม่มีก้านช่อ ทุกส่วนเกลี้ยง หรือมีขนสั้นนุ่ม ดอกย่อยประกอบด้วย ก้านดอกย่อยสั้นมากหรือไม่มีก้าน ก้านดอกย่อย วงกลีบเลี้ยงเชื่อมติดกัน ปลายแยก 5 แฉก ปลายของแต่ลุแฉกแหลม วงกลีบดอกเชื่อมกันเป็นรูปดอกเข็ม ปลายแยก 5 แฉก กว้างประมาณ 0.4-0.8 ซม. ยาวประมาณ 0.7-2.3 ซม. สีขาว รูปขอบขนาน ปลายมน เกสรเพศจำนวน 5 อัน แยกกัน เกสรเพศเมีย 1 อัน อยู่เหนือวงกลีบ [2]

ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้ยืนต้น ขนาดเล็กถึงขนาดกลาง ลำต้นมีความสูงประมาณ 2-12 เมตร ลักษณะของลำต้นมีผิวเปลือกเรียบเกลี้ยง และมีน้ำยางเป็นสีขาว [4]

ต้น : ไม้ต้นขนาดเล็ก สูง 5-10 เมตร ทุกส่วนของต้นมีน้ำยางสีขาว [2]

ถิ่นที่พบ : พบตามป่าเบญจพรรณและป่าแล้งทั่วไป [5]

ผล : เป็นฝัก ลักษณะของฝักออกเป็นคู่ ฝักตรง หรืองอเล็กน้อย ปลายฝักแหลม ส่วนโคนแบน ฝักยาวประมาณ 6-12 นิ้ว กว้างประมาณ 6-7 มม. พื้นผิวเปลือกเรียบเกลี้ยง ฝักแก่มีสีดำ แล้วแตกอ้าออกจากกันเป็น 2 ซีก ภายในมีเมล็ดเรียงกันอยู่เป็นแถว หลายเมล็ด เมล็ดเป็นรูปขอบขนาน ยาวประมาณ 15 มม. [4]

ผล : แตกแนวเดียว รูปแถบเรียวยาว กว้างประมาณ 0.5 ซม. ยาว 37-45 ซม. ก้านผลยาว 1.6-2.5 ซม. [2]

เมล็ด : จำนวนมาก มีปีกบาง [2]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว ลักษณะของใบเป็นรูปรี หรือรูปไข่ ปลายใบแหลม หรือมน ใบมีขนาดกว้างประมาณ 2-5 นิ้ว ยาวประมาณ 4-10.5 นิ้ว พื้นผิวใบบาง ใต้ท้องใบมีขน และมีเส้นประมาณ 10-20 คู่ เห็นได้ชัด [4]

ใบ : ใบเดี่ยว เรียงตรงข้าม กว้าง 3.5-14 ซม. ยาว 7-30 ซม. ก้านใบยาว 0.4-1.2 ซม. แผ่นใบบางคล้ายกระดาษ รูปรีหรือขอบขนาน โคนใบป้านหรือรูปลิ่ม ปลายเรียวแหลม หรือเป็นติ่งแหลม ขอบเรียบ ผิวใบด้านบนและด้านล่างเป็นมัน เกลี้ยง หรือมีขนสั้นนุ่ม [2]
