| ดอก : ออกดอกเดี่ยว ๆ อยู่ตามง่ามใบ ลักษณะของดอกจะห้อยลงมีอยู่ 2 ชั้น ชั้นละ 3 กลีบ ชั้นในกลีบดอกจะสั้นกว่าชั้นนอก มีสีเหลืองอมเขียว กลีบเลี้ยงมี 3 กลีบ เกสรกลาง ดอกมีจำนวนมากมาย [2] [3] |
| ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้ยืนต้นขนาดเล็ก แตกกิ่งก้านสาขาออกเป็นก้านเล็ก ๆ ไม่ใหญ่โตมากนัก ผิวเกลี้ยง สีเทาอมน้ำตาล ลำต้นสูงประมาณ 8 เมตร [3] [5] |
| ต้น : ไม้ยืนต้นขนาดเล็ก แตกกิ่งก้าน กิ่งเปราะ [2] |
| ถิ่นที่พบ : พบทั่วไปในเขตร้อน ประเทศไทยปลูกมากทางภาคกลาง และภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ [10] |
| ผล : ขนาดใหญ่ เป็นผลชนิด aggregate ผิวผลเขียวอ่อน และแข็ง เมื่อลูกผิวผลสีเหลืองอมเทาขาว ๆ นิ่ม ผิวผลขรุขระเป็นร่องๆ เมล็ดสีขาวอมน้ำตาล มีเนื้อสีขาวค่อนข้างแข็งหุ้ม เมื่อผลสุก เมล็ดเปลี่ยนสภาพเป็นสีดำ ผิวมัน เนื้อที่หุ้มนิ่ม และมีรสหอมหวาน [2] |
| ผล : ออกเป็นลูกกลม ๆ ป้อม ๆ โตประมาณ 3-4 นิ้ว มีผิวขรุขระ เป็นช่องกลมนูน ซึ่งในแต่ละช่องนั้นภายในจะเป็นเนื้อสีขาวและมีเมล็ดสีดำหรือน้ำตาลเข้ม เนื้อในทานได้มีรสหวาน เปลือกผลสีเขียว แต่ถ้าสุกตรงขอบช่องนูนนั้นจะออกสีขาวและบีบดูจะนุ่มๆ [3] [5] |
| ใบ : ออกใบเดี่ยว เรียงสลับกันไปตามข้อต้น ลักษณะของใบเป็นรูปรี ปลายและโคนใบจะแหลม ใบกว้างประมาณ 1-2.5 นิ้ว ยาว 3-6 นิ้ว สีเขียว ก้านใบยาว 0.5 นิ้ว [3] [5] |
